Mary Catherine Strobel Volunteer Awards

Overview

The Mary Catherine Strobel Volunteer Awards is Middle Tennessee's largest, annual, luncheon event that recognized individuals and groups who have selflessly given their time and talent to improve the community and its residents' overall quality of life.  Awards are given to outstanding individual volunteers and volunteer groups in five categories - volunteer innovator, direct service volunteer, community-wide volunteer, youth volunteer, and volunteer group.

Audience

The Mary Catherine Strobel Volunteer Awards attracts over 800 guests who well represent Middle Tennessee's nonprofit community, as well as the individual volunteers, groups, and corporations who support these entities' missions through their labors of love.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Each sponsorship level receives media placement and a variety of other benefits, including tickets to the event and recognition in our monthly newsletter and website.  Sponsorships are available at various levels: Table Sponsors ($1,000), Award Sponsors ($3,500), Founding Sponsor ($10,000).  To get involved, please contact Amy Maloney at 615-298-1108 xt.110 or amy@hon.org.

Hands On Nashville Day

Overview

Hands On Nashville (HON) Day is the community's largest annual volunteer day.  For Hands On Nashville Day, HON and 1,250 community volunteers team up with Metro Schools to complete dozens of school improvement projects - painting, landscaping, repairs, educational tool development, etc. - at up to 50 public school locations.

Audience

HON Day participants are primarily young professionals - between the ages of 28 and 40 who love and work in Nashville and surrounding counties - and college students.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsorships range from Bronze Bucket level ($1,000) to Presenting Sponsor ($20,000).  in-kind sponsorships include: supplies, paint, t-shirts, food, beverages, advertising, print materials.  Each sponsorship level receives media placement and a variety of other benefits.  In addition, many corporations sponsor teams of employee volunteers starting at $20 per person.
