I am a Visitor or a New Volunteer.
New users must first register. As a
visitor, you will only have access to view projects.
Once you have registered, you will receive an email
to activate your account. Once you activate your
account (by following the link in the email) you may
then sign up for projects on the project calendar.
I have forgotten my password.
If you have forgotten your password, you should
visit the Member Center and scroll down to
"Forget your Password?". Enter your email
address and click "Email my Password Now".
Your password will be sent immediately. If you wish
to change your password, go back to the Member
Center, click on the Personal Information
tab and select "Email and Password". You will
be able to change your password here. Remember to
choose the "Update Information" button at the
bottom of the screen when you make changes.
If I have multiple email addresses, which
email do I use to login?
You may provide multiple email addresses (such
as personal and business), but you must select one
as your primary (default) address. This address will
serve as your account log-in, as well as the address
by which you will receive Hands On Nashville
communications.
Why does "email address provided is already in
use by another user" appear when I try to register?
This message probably means that you already
have an account established. To obtain your
password, visit the Member Center and enter
your email address in the "Forget your Password?"
section. Your password will be sent to you
immediately. If you are trying to set up an account
for other family members, each member must have
their own unique email address. An easy way to do
this might be through a free service such as yahoo
or hotmail. You are always welcome to call the Hands
On Nashville office at (615) 298-1108 to sign up for
projects or update your contact information.
I am having difficulty registering for a
project or a course as an individual.
Please make sure that you have registered. If
you have just registered, you will need to check
your email and activate your account (by following
the link in the email). Once you have activated your
account, select your project and sign-up. If you are
not a new user, please make sure that you have
logged. Once you log in, you will be able to sign up
for projects.
A message appears that states I have
restrictions on my account.
Your account may be missing some required
information. Be sure all fields with required
information (those marked with an orange asterisk)
are completed in your personal account information.
Please also check the age requirement for the
project to confirm that the project is appropriate
for your age.
I am having difficulty registering a team for
a project or special event.
1. You must first register all of your
team members.
2. Once all of your team members have been
registered you can create your team and add your
team members.
3. Select your project and add your team.
