Teen Only: Helping Hands at LP Pencil Box
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays
LP Pencil Box is a free school supply store for Metro Nashville Public Schools. It provides basic school supplies to teachers for their disadvantaged students. As a volunteer at the store, you will assist teachers in locating needed supplies, help sort donations, restock shelves, and assist in the general upkeep of the store. This project provides you with valuable work skills and experience! Volunteer here!

Food Sorting at Second Harvest Food Banks
Various Evenings
The Emergency Food Box and Grocery Rescue Programs are integral to supporting individuals and families in crisis. Volunteers will work in Second Harvest Food Bank's warehouse to sort food for these programs. This is a great activity for energetic folks! Volunteer here!

Administrative Volunteer for Penuel Ridge
If you enjoy the peace of a lovely, natural environment, then Penuel Ridge is the choice for you. Volunteers are needed to assist in the daily operations of Penuel Ridge Retreat Center. Volunteers are needed Monday-Friday during regular business hours. Some duties may be performed off-site or during evenings or weekends to accommodate a volunteer’s schedule. Girls On The Run Running Buddy
Girls on the Run is an after-school program for 3rd-6th grade girls that use running games and activities to deliver self-esteem lessons and build a healthy lifestyle. Each girl needs a Running Buddy to run beside/pace/encourage her in both a practice 5K and the end of season 5k finale. Running Buddies need to be able to run both the practice 5K in April and the end of season race in May. Click here for more information.
