Immersion Retreat Assistant

Immersion Retreat is a nonprofit organization that conducts retreats, classes and workshops to help and inspire women in distress to rebuild their lives, to achieve empowerment, and renew personal peace and harmony through art, music, and nature.

Volunteers are needed to:

Assist facilitator prior, during, and after the workshop with assembling and organizing supplies, materials, and work space.
Carry and distribute arts and crafts supplies before and after the workshop. Weight maximum: 10 lbs.
Assist clients with questions and needs during the workshops.
Occasionally we prepare flower arrangements and deliver them to the nearest nursing home, just couple blocks down the street, so volunteers will escort the participants to and from the nursing home.

In addition to participating as volunteers, you will have the opportunity to take part in all activities of the workshop, along with the other participants. Some of the activities include: Circle of Self Discovery, Craft Project - Vision Board, Dance Time, Music with Brenda Best, and Meditation with Andrea.

Feel free to invite other women who may benefit from stress release activities.
