Sort Canned Goods at Second Harvest
Volunteers are needed to sort canned goods. This project will take place in the warehouse, which is kept at around 65 degrees. We recommend that you dress in layers. However, volunteers will NOT be working in the refrigerated room. All volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes.
This project is open to volunteers age 12 and older. All volunteers under the age of 18 are required to bring a signed Volunteer Release Form with them to each project. Volunteers under 18 will also be asked to sign a Second Harvest Youth Volunteer Form. Groups of people younger than 18 must be accompanied by adult chaperones - one adult per five young people.
This project does not qualify for court ordered community service hours.
