Deliver Meals on Wheels at Martha O'Bryan Center
Meals on Wheels at the Martha O'Bryan Center (MOBC) operates Monday-Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Volunteer drivers deliver meals to seniors, and home-bound adults in the neighborhoods surrounding the Center. Age or disability often leave folks incapable of leaving the house. The time, energy and work that our volunteers have put into our program over the years has been a very important service for our community!
Volunteer drivers, oftentimes teams of 2, deliver 1 of our 5 delivery routes, driving from MOBC with turn-by-turn directions and information on each recipient. Depending on the number of volunteers and your particular request, you may be paired up with another person (which can make routes easier - though, they are not difficult alone).
Volunteers provide lunch, a smile, conversation, and care to our neighbors here at the Martha O'Bryan Center!
