Post Setting - Annie Belle
Habitat For Paws (HFP) provides free support to dogs living outside. Our services include spay or neuter for their dog at a local clinic, better shelter, light weight tethers to replace heavy chains, and fences. HFP is a small, all volunteer organization that serves dogs in Davidson, Sumner, Robertson & Rutherford counties of Middle Tennessee.
Volunteers will provide support to dig holes for setting posts in concrete to build free fences for chained dogs living outside 24/7. Posts are set one week before Build to allow concrete to setup. After holes are dug, posts are set in hole, then concrete and water are poured in hole alternately and tamped down. Generally there are 6-10 posts set for each Build. The amount of time for a post setting is 1.5– 2 hours.
