Part 2 One-on-One Tutor Training

The Nashville Adult Literacy Council needs volunteer tutors to teach English skills to adult adult immigrants. No experience is necessary! If you can read, you can tutor. Sign up for a training and get started teaching an adult to read and succeed.  The One-on-One Program matches students to meet with tutors weekly. We ask volunteers for a six-month commitment and a weekly time commitment of two or three hours. Meeting time and location are based upon your availability.

This is Part 2 of a two-part training session for volunteer tutors who are interested in working specifically with adult ELL (English Language Learners) students in the Antioch and South Nashville area. In order to complete the training, volunteers will also need to sign-up for and attend Part 1 of this training on March 10 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The opportunity date and time you are looking for is no longer available.
