Art for Animals
Our 8th annual Art for Animals will be held Saturday, March 21 from 5:30 - 9:00pm to benefit the spay and neuter programs of Pet Community Center.
This year, Art for Animals moves to beautiful Riverwood Mansion in East Nashville. Built in the late 1790's, the mansion is one of Nashville's oldest and largest homes, and offers a unique and gorgeous setting for our annual fundraiser.
This highly anticipated event has become one of Nashville's most popular fundraisers, offering an exciting and fun live auction of local artwork in a variety of media. In addition, the evening offers a sprawling silent auction, wine and beer, hors d'oeuvres, a fun photo booth and more.
Event Volunteers will:
-help with monitoring auction items during the event (make sure all bids meet minimum bid requirement and bid increments, answer questions about where to get a bid number, what time the auction ends, etc.)
-at the close of the silent auction volunteers will pull the bid sheets off all the tables and take them to the auction leader.
-during auction check out at the end of the night, volunteers will be assigned to one auction table and as guests check out and pay for their items, they will come to the table to redeem their item. Volunteers will double check they have paid and release the item to the winner.
-during the event volunteers will assist with directing guests to attractions at the event and help monitor the event area for cleanliness.
