2015 Season of Harmony Concert

For their annual holiday showcase, the dulcet voices of The Nashville Singers usher in the yuletide season with stellar choral performances of new musical gems and holiday favorites. Joining the Singers again this year is father-and-son duo The O’Donnells, whose bluegrass and country foot-stompers have made them regulars at Rippy’s on Broadway.

The Nashville Singers celebrate the power of the human voice to entertain, educate, unite, uplift, enrich, and inspire, by performing an ever-widening repertoire of choral music at the highest artistic level, for a broad community of audiences.

This will be our 6th annual Season of Harmony Concert. We have lots of great music planned including many new selections.

Funding for and focus on the performing arts is at an all-time low. Wanting to make a difference, the Nashville Singers organization was founded in November of 2008 with a mission to enrich lives through singing and the support of music education. This male chorus of 20 volunteer singers raises funds to support music education and fulfills this mission by presenting master classes on the art of a cappella singing to middle and high school students and vocal performance clinics to adults. In addition, the Nashville Singers have awarded $10,750 in music education grants and scholarships in the last five years, impacting hundreds of students in Middle Tennessee and beyond. Each year, the Nashville Singers also recognize an outstanding music educator by presenting the annual Carol Crittenden Arts Advocate of the Year Award. This 501c3 nonprofit, philanthropic, performing arts organization derives 30% of its annual revenue from special events like this annual concert.
