Stuff Holiday Stockings for Kids in Foster Care
As a part of the Holiday Heroes program, individuals and groups are needed to stuff holiday stockings for youth in foster care and teens aging out of foster care. The stockings can be filled with toiletries (list will be provided of most needed items) and smaller gifts (lip balm, makeup, nail polish, gum, candy, pens, gift cards to McDonalds, Wal-Mart and Subway, etc.).
By providing a stocking filled with these items, you are letting these children know that they matter to the community. Groups can organize donation collections for stockings, toiletries, and other small items. Volunteers can stuff the stockings together as a fun volunteer project.
