Communications Internship
The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee oversees more than 1,000 charitable funds, providing customized philanthropic solutions with flexibility for donors, nonprofit organizations and the community. In the past 23 years, The Community Foundation has distributed more than $640 million to community programs and institutions. The Communications department of The Community Foundation is responsible for all public relations and marketing efforts.
Internship responsibilities include:
Commitment is 10-15 hours per week during normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Course credit is available.
Internship term is mid-January through mid-April, with some flexibility. To apply, express interest below.
Internship responsibilities include:
- Drafting and distributing press releases
- Writing for marketing collateral, online blog, and social media, etc.
- Assist in production of Foundation printed and electronic materials
- Building and updating media lists
- Administrative and organizational responsibilities as needed
