2015 Cheekwood in Bloom
Looking for a fun volunteer opportunity this spring? Then join us for Cheekwood in Bloom, beginning March 21. During this special program season, we’ll offer drop-in art activities each Saturday (except for April 4) from 10-2 for our younger visitors.
During the sessions, volunteers will support both the instructor and the children who participate. Responsibilities include helping set up the studio, encouraging the young visitors as they engage in the activity of the day, and refreshing the studio afterward.
Shifts are 9:45-noon and 11:45-2:00. Volunteers may serve one or both shifts. April 25 honors Arbor Day with tree-climbing offered! We’ll need a maximum of 6 volunteers per shift. Volunteers are encouraged, and welcome, to go out and enjoy our gardens and museum of art after their shifts.
