NAZA Amazing Race and Showcase
Show your support for students at an event where they display their art, perform, play field day activities, and receive recognition from Mayor Dean.
The Nashville After Zone Alliance (NAZA) is hosting its 5th Annual Amazing Race and Showcase! NAZA is a nationally-recognized system of free, high-quality afterschool programs that provide academic support and new creative outlets for Metro Nashville Public Schools’ middle school students (grades five to eight) at safe and convenient locations, both at school and in the community. NAZA reaches middle school students who cannot access other afterschool programs due to cost or transportation issues.
Volunteers set-up an activity station at 10:00, lead different groups of students in a field day activity multiple times from 11:45-12:45, and clean-up from 12:45-1:15. Instructions for leading the activities will be provided in advance of the Showcase.
