YVC: ReCYCLE for Kids Bike Refurbishment Project
Have you ever wanted to learn how to fix a bike? Join other volunteers to help Hands On Nashville clean and repair donated kids bikes. Before it can make its way to a new home, each bike must be carefully inspected, cleaned, and restored. With your help, these bikes will be as good or better than new when they arrive in the hands of deserving young Nashvillians. Your service will provide hundreds of kids with an opportunity to engage in fun, healthy physical activity, and you'll also learn some general bike maintenance skills that you can use on your own bike! Give a kid the unique feeling of joy that you experience when riding a bike. Sign up to volunteer today!
This project is open to volunteers ages 13 to 18. All youth volunteers are required to have a Volunteer Liability Release Form on file prior to attending a HON Youth Volunteer Corps project. Please note: this form must only be completed one time, and will be kept on file by Hands On Nashville for future projects. When completing the form, a parent must be present to provide an e-signature.Age Minimum (with Adult): 13+, Minimum Age:13+, Maximum Age:18
