Sustainable Agriculture Project
Join us to build raised planting beds complete with drip irrigation using methods being done in developing countries around the world! For this project, FarmOne is partnering with Healing Hands International www.hhi.org at our farm site in Whites Creek, TN.
The high value of sustainable agriculture globally is that it consists of knowledge and methods that use locally available organic material and affordable supplies to create a more reliable and nutrient rich food supply. This in turn improves lives, families, and communities, plus it's something you can do at your home!
Tools, work gloves, sunscreen, and drinking water will be provided and no gardening experience is necessary! Please bring snacks for yourself, dress appropriately for the weather and working in the dirt. Closed-toe shoes are required!
