Mentoring Incarcerated Women
This 2-day training will prepare you to meet with a female inmate one hour per week for 8 weeks, beginning in early Sept. Your partner will be enrolled in a structured program that teaches decision-making skills; you will be her mentor, coach and cheerleader.
This meaningful volunteer opportunity calls for commitment, patience and flexibility in dealing with a challenging environment (a state prison!).
