Evening Childcare - East Nashville
We are in need of volunteers Monday through Thursday evenings at our Area Command from 5pm to 7:30pm to assist our Transitional Housing families as they meet with their case managers and attend parenting classes. Hours can be flexible (except on Tuesdays when we need 2 people from 6pm to 7:30pm for set class times). You may do any or all of the following tasks depending on the time you volunteer: - Feeding the children dinner (5-6pm block). This is also a time where you can assist in teaching proper table manners. - Arts & Crafts - Outdoor Play A Background check and 20-30 minute online training is required before volunteering. We ask that you commit to at least 1 hour a week for 6 weeks.
