OLD Provide a Meal for GED Students - Begin Anew Madison
Begin Anew provides ESL, Computer, Literacy, and GED classes for women in the Madison area. Students bring their entire family when they come to class, and we provide free childcare while students work towards achieving their goals.
Are you interested in providing a meal for our students and their children on a class night?
Examples of the type of meals volunteers might bring would include quick, nutrition packed foods that can be eaten easily before class such as:
Sandwiches or wraps
Fruit/veggie tray
Meatballs, chicken fingers, pizza, lasagna, or mac'n'cheese
Non-caffeine drinks, water bottles
The Program Director on site and the Volunteer Coordinator will work with volunteers to plan a menu.
