Hauntings at The Hermitage!
Join us for the 15th annual Hauntings at The Hermitage! This is a beloved family-friendly community event full of fun activities and spooky storytelling. We need a LOT of volunteers to help with a variety of jobs, from assisting at the ticket area to running Trick-or-Treat stations, giving guests directions along the route, helping kids with crafts and games, or even dressing up as part of the Haunted Hayride attraction!
If you are able to volunteer for the entire event, that would be a huge help and you'll get several breaks throughout the evening! However, we've divided the event into two shifts for those that cannot stay the entire evening - you can either do 3:15 to 7:15PM OR 6:45 to 10:45PM.
If you'd like to join the Haunted Hayride, please sign up for the 3:00-10:30 shift. This job requires being here for the entire event, since some of you will be dressing in a costume and getting makeup. You will get several breaks and a really fun job! This is a great way to get into the Halloween spirit! We are looking for people who are willing to dress up as characters/ghosts and play roles in the hayride route.
The theme is "Ghostly Ball at The Hermitage," so we'll need people to wear historical garb at some places and others to be dressed as ghosts. This is a fun activity with a number of different jobs, and toward the end of the ride there will be dancing ghost parts for those willing to be lit up and waltz around as part of the scene!
