Farmers Market Set Up
The Hip Donelson Farmers Market serves Donelson and the surrounding areas by making fresh, local foods easily accessible to all members of the community.
With our very successful SNAP Back program, the Market is able to double SNAP benefits for recipients up to $20 each week, allowing families with limited food budgets to make healthier food choices and stretch their food dollar.
We need volunteers on Fridays, from 2-4pm to help with market set-up. Duties include transporting market equipment (tents, tables, chairs, etc) from our on-site storage room to the market area and setting them up in the designated areas. Volunteers should be able to lift and move 25 lbs.
Volunteers should note that we are an outdoor market and operate rain or shine. Please dress accordingly.
