MAC Summer Food Service Program- South Nashville
We are in need of reliable volunteers to assist with Metro Action Commission’s Summer Food Service Program. This program is designed to ensure that children who normally receive meals through the Free and Reduced Lunch Program during the school year, receive nutritious meals during the summer.
Lunches are served each Monday through Friday in June and July. Lunches typically arrive by 10:30 a.m., the kids arrive to eat about 11, and are finished by noon.
Duties include: serving the food, keeping track of the numbers served, maintaining order amongst the kids during the lunch and overseeing the kids cleaning up.
