Nashville Walk to End Lupus - Closing Shift Volunteers
The Nashville Walk to End Lupus is the most important fundraising and awareness event put on each year by the Mid-south chapter of the Lupus Foundation. This event creates a family picnic type atmosphere where families affected by this disease can come to celebrate life, encourage each other and help raise funds for a great cause. The event will feature a DJ, food trucks, a kids corner with a bounce castle and much more. Towards the end of the event there will be a 1 mile walk through Centennial Park. Volunteers are needed to help pack up at the end of the Nashville Walk to End Lupus event on September 11, 2016 in Centennial Park. Duties will include collecting signs, taking down tents, and packing boxes into a van. All volunteers will receive a volunteer t-shirt and light refreshments. You are also encouraged to come early to participate in the festivities before your shift!
