Pumpkin Patch Volunteers
Pumpkins for a Purpose 100% of the profit goes directly back into the Cooper Trooper Foundation to support our mission: 1. Courage Kits to the Well Siblings: We reach out to the well siblings when a child is diagnosed with cancer in a family. The well siblings often get unintentionally lost in the shuffle when their sibling is diagnosed. We believe the well siblings are the "Heroes in the Shadows" and CTF wants to shine a light on them. Not only do we want to make them feel special, we also want to provide them with some resources to help them understand and cope with their family's fight against childhood cancer. 2. Pediatric Cancer Research through an endowed fund at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt Most people do not realize that only 4% research dollars from the American Cancer Society goes to pediatric cancer research even though it is the number #1 disease killer of kids. CTF wants to be a part of finding a cure to this awful disease. Volunteer duties will include helping customers find pumpkins, assisting customers to their car, taking pictures and overall customer service.
