Provide a Meal for Kids in Childcare - Begin Anew Madison
Begin Anew provides ESL, Computer, Literacy, and GED classes for women in the Madison area. Students bring their entire family when they come to class, and we provide free childcare while students work towards achieving their goals. Are you interested in providing a meal for our students' children while their parents are attending class? Examples of the type of meals volunteers might bring would include quick, nutrition packed foods that can be eaten easily before class such as: - Sandwiches or wraps - Fruit/veggie tray - Meatballs, chicken fingers, pizza, lasagna, or mac 'n' cheese - Non-caffeine drinks or water bottles The Program Director on site and the Volunteer Coordinator will work with volunteers ahead of time to plan a menu.
