Read to Kids in Metro Schools
Love books? Love kids? You'll LOVE this program! Join the Reading Is Fundamental program and help share your love of books and reading with low-income elementary school students. RIF readers read great books to students and give them brand new books that Book'em supplies.
Book'em needs substitutes to join the program mid-year, replacing readers who have had to leave the program. Some classes need five visits between now and May, some need three. Readers schedule their visits with their teacher at a mutually convenient time, each lastis 30 minutes. Prep and travel time is required.
Whne you sign up, you will be contacted to set up an hour-long training session.
