Sexual Assault Advocate - Hospital Accompaniment
The Sexual Assault Hospital Advocate responds to sexual assault victims that come into the county's emergency rooms. This volunteer advocate will help clients with resources needed to cope with their recent sexual assault, and advocate for the client with law enforcement and medical personnel.

- Be on-call via cell phone or home phone to take calls from our answering service, who will inform you when a victim is at the hospital.
- Report to the hospital immediately after receiving call.
- Use empathy, warmth, and listening skills to help clients in crisis.
- Complete documentation of accompaniment and have client sign form. Return the documentation to the volunteer coordinator within 24 hours.
