Usher Seniors to Morning Concert
The senior citizens at the Woodcrest Health Center at the Blakeford at Green Hills have a love of music and also have a need for assistance in encouragement and transporting them from their rooms to the Activities Room down the hall. Volunteers would encourage the residents to participate and assist them down to the Activities Room by either pushing a wheelchair or accompanying and guiding them down to the room for the performance. Volunteers are encouraged to interact with the residents and performers during the performance.
Please come dressed appropriately to work with the elderly population. Volunteers are asked not to wear revealing clothing.
All volunteers under the age of 18 are required to bring a signed Volunteer Release Form with them to each project.
We welcome students who need to fulfill service requirements.
Please register through the HON website so we know to expect you. We can only take up to 3 volunteers.
