South Inglewood Rain Garden Installation
The Tennessee Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects partnered with the Cumberland River Compact, Metro Parks, and Metro Water Services to sponsor a design competition for a rain garden in South Inglewood Park. The winning design will come to life with the support of volunteers on Saturday, April 12!
Volunteers will dig in the dirt, plant native plants, and mulch to their hearts' content! Be sure to wear clothes you can get dirty. Long pants are recommended and closed-toe shoes are required! All tools will be provided, but if you have shovels, spades, gloves, or pitch forks, please bring them! Also be sure to bring a resuable water bottle to stay hydrated!
