YVC: Serve It Up at the Mission
Youth volunteers will assist with preparing food items, serving meals to homeless women and children in the kitchen, and light dining room cleanup. All volunteers will work alongside the women in the Life Recovery Program and receive education on the mission of the Nashville Rescue Mission. By the end of this project, you'll be taking home a smile of your own.
Volunteers are to check in at the NRM's Hope Center.
This project is open to volunteers ages 11 to 17. All youth volunteers are required to have a Volunteer Liability Release Form on file prior to attending a HON Youth Volunteer Corps project. Please note: this form must only be completed one time, and will be kept on file by Hands On Nashville for future projects. When completing the form, a parent must be present to provide an e-signature.
