YVC: River Cleanup at Warner Park
Volunteers will be assisting the Friends Of Warner Parks in maintaining the historic Percy Warner Park area.
Activities will include: hiking and light maintenance of the trails and picking up litter in the picnic area.
This project will take place at Edwin Warner Park, which is located across from the soccer fields on Vaughn Road. The exact location of the project will be emailed to you at least 48 hours before the event.
Volunteers will be working outdoors, and must wear closed toe shoes (old tennis shoes or water shoes are preferable) and should dress appropriate for the cold weather. Gloves and any tools will be supplied.
This project is open to volunteers ages 11 to 18. All youth volunteers are required to have a Volunteer Liability Release Form on file prior to attending a HON Youth Volunteer Corps project. Please note: this form must only be completed one time, and will be kept on file by Hands On Nashville for future projects. When completing the form, a parent must be present to provide an e-signature.
