Spay/Neuter Clinic Volunteer
Pet Community Center Spay + Neuter Clinic recently opened in East Nashville. We provide low-cost, high-quality services in an effort to reduce the number of stray and homeless animals that are euthanized in local shelters.
Clinic volunteers assist with activities that keep our clinic running efficiently so we can provide high quality services to more animals at a lower cost!
Clinic Volunteer duties (please note volunteers do not handle animals):
1. Walking dogs (special training required - must sign up in advance)
2. Assist with laundry
3. Assist with cleaning surgical instruments and making sterilized surgical packs (if you've ever washed dishes you are qualified, and we will train you!)
4. Open syringe packages and draw vaccines
5. Occasionally volunteers may help with administrative projects such as scanning and filing forms
Volunteers are welcome Tuesday through Saturday between 9 AM and 4 PM - must serve a minimum of 2 hours per month.
