One-on-One Tutor Training 2015
The Nashville Adult Literacy Council needs volunteer tutors to teach reading to adult Americans and English to adult immigrants. No experience is necessary! If you can read, you can tutor. Sign up for a training and get started teaching an adult to read and succeed.
The One-on-One Program matches students to meet with tutors weekly. We ask volunteers for a six-month commitment and a weekly time commitment of two or three hours. Meeting time and location are based upon your availability.
