Nashville AIDS Walk & 5K Run
The Nashville AIDS Walk and 5K Run is Tennessee’s oldest continuously running HIV/AIDS fundraiser. Entering into its 24th year, the Nashville AIDS Walk is one of the city‘s highest profile events! This event is pet-friendly and consists of a walk, 5K run, community business fair, entertainment and food! The event benefits thousands of individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS in the 17 counties of Northern Middle Tennessee.
Volunteers are needed to help setup, register participants, hand out water, help with the Community and Business Fair, clean up, and assist with other tasks as needed. T-shirts and water are provided to all pre-registered volunteers.
The event will take place rain or shine. Volunteers should dress comfortably for being outdoors. For more information about the event, visit www.NashvilleAIDSWalk.com.
Various shifts are available from 6:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. Shifts are as follows:
6:30am - 2:00pm - Volunteer Check-In Tent
7:00am - 10:00am - Event Setup Volunteers
8:30am - 1:00pm - Incentive Tent
9:00am - 1:00pm - Event Floaters/Runners
1:00pm - 2:00pm - Event Clean Up
