Boyscout Jamboree Bike Rodeo
On October 4, 2014 Walk/Bike Nashville will be hosting a Bike Rodeo at the Middle TN Boyscout Jamboree, at the Wilson County Fairgrounds. This will include instruction in basic maintenance check (air, brakes, chain), basic riding skills, and bike-safety.
We are looking for volunteers to help with the Rodeo. Volunteers will be assisting the Walk/Bike Staff with groups of up to 30 boyscouts and tasks will include helping with demonstrations, setting up/taking down courses, helping new cyclists, and keeping the groups on task.
Walk/Bike has prepared course/activity plan, but experience biking and knowledge of basic bike skills is strongly recommended.
