Mayor's Challenge 5K Walk/Run Packet Pick Up
The fourth annual Mayor’s Challenge 5K Walk/Run and Kids’ Fun Run is Sunday, Nov. 9, starting at Public Square Park outside the Metro Courthouse. Activities start at noon. The Kids’ Fun Run begins at 2 p.m. The 5K begins at 2:15 p.m. Participation is completely free and individuals of all ages and fitness levels are encouraged to join.
Over 5,000 Nashvillians “stepped up to the challenge” in each of the last three years by participating in the Mayor’s Challenge 5K Walk/Run – the city’s only free 5K event with a free training program offered through Metro Parks & Recreation. As Mayor Dean’s most popular health event to date, the Mayor’s Challenge 5K brings out Nashvillians of all ages and fitness levels to walk and run the streets of downtown Nashville.
