Food Day 2014
Community Food Advocates and the Nashville Farmers Market are hosting the fourth annual Nashville Food Day; a nationwide celebration and movement towards a more healthy, affordable, and sustainable food system. Food Day will take place on October 24.
Food Day volunteers will play a vital role in the success of the event. Volunteers will lead an interactive children's zone, greet event attendees, work the information table, distribute tickets and food samples, and collect food for the food drive. Two shifts are available: 4:00PM-7:00PM and 6:00PM-9:00PM. Free food and beverages will be available, and volunteers are encouraged to come early or stick around to enjoy the event!
