MNPS Reading Clinic Training
MNPS Reading Clinics is currently seeking volunteers to work with students in grades K-8 who are reading below grade level. Using a research-based method, volunteers are trained to implement a one-to-one, easy-to-follow, 30-minute reading intervention lesson. Tutors will attend a 1.5 hour training.
Minimum commitment is one 30 minute session weekly. Tutors will remain with assigned student for one semester (or longer if desired.) Twenty-two school-based Reading Clinic locations are available to choose from. A free background check is required.
