School Supplies at LP PENCIL Box
You can help students in Nashville's public schools by volunteering at LP PENCIL Box where teachers can shop for free school supplies. The Box is a service of PENCIL Foundation to ensure that low-income students have the supplies they need for school success – and that teachers don’t have to spend their own money to provide those supplies. All the items in the store come from generous donations by businesses and individuals.
Volunteers will help us inventory and bundle supplies, stock store shelves and assist teachers during check-in/checkout. The work is not physically demanding but comfortable clothes and shoes are a plus!
We also are trying our best to be environmentally friendly so please bring a water bottle for our filtered water station.
