Project Homeless Connect
Project Homeless Connect (PHC) is a one-day, one-stop event to provide people experiencing homelessness with access to a broad range of services, including medical and foot care, legal services, employment assistance, pet care, food, toiletries and more. The event also helps participants contact long lost family members, obtain identification and fill out applications for housing opportunities. PHC makes a powerful impact on the lives of homeless people by providing a wide range of assistance in one location, and through the outpouring of respect and hospitality from service providers and volunteers.
Volunteers are needed to serve in a wide range of capacities during this event. There are three shifts available for volunteering: 8:00am-4:00pm, 8:00am-12:00pm, and 11:30am-4:00pm. Directions for parking and entrance will be emailed to all volunteers prior to training and the event. Volunteers will be required to attend one training prior to the event, and there will be multiple training opportunities.
