2013 Season to Give: The Nashville Food Project
This holiday season, Tennessean reporters are profiling eight charities that help Middle Tennesseans in need. Hands On Nashville is proud to partner with these organizations to connect volunteers to critical needs facing the Middle Tennessee community.
The Nashville Food Project strives to provide increased access to healthy foods in homeless and working poor communities in Davidson County. With two catering trucks, a partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank, a large organic garden, and the hard work of volunteers, we serve approximately 600 meals per week.
