MLK Days of Service
Jan. 17 & 19, 2015

"Everyone can be great...because anybody can serve." - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Each day, our city’s community centers connect Nashvillians of all ages with valuable resources. This January, celebrate Dr. King’s legacy and join Hands On Nashville to brighten and improve four Metro Parks Community Centers with a fresh coat of paint.

More than 800 volunteers are needed on Saturday, Jan. 17 and Monday, Jan. 19 to support these important neighborhood spaces. Join us!

Protecting & Serving Our Neighbors

Hands On Nashville is teaming up with the Nashville Fire Department once again to provide fire safety and prevention education during this two-day MLK Day commemoration.

As a volunteer, you will:

- learn tips to protect your family members and neighbors from common household fire hazards;

- serve Metro Nashville Parks and Recreation Community Centers through facility improvement projects.

We're looking for dynamic leaders to rally, instruct, and inspire fellow volunteers on Jan. 17 and 19.
