| Cooking It Up at Ronald McDonald |
Agency: Ronald McDonald House
Description:
The Ronald McDonald House provides a "home away from home" for families of critically ill children receiving inpatient or outpatient medical care at Nashville area hospitals. Volunteers can help the residents feel more comfortable during their stay with a home-cooked meal and pleasant conversation.
Volunteers are asked to provide either a main dish or side dish for the meal. The Project Coordinator will contact you with a menu so that you may choose what you will bring. During the meal, volunteers will set out the food, assist residents by preparing their plate or drink, then socialize briefly with the residents during dinner.
