Gear Up for Hands On Nashville's #GivingTuesday Bike Drive

#GivingTuesday is set for Dec. 2 (think "Black Friday" or "Cyber Monday," only way more awesome!) We invite you to celebrate this day of giving by taking part in Hands On Nashville's ReCYCLE for Kids community bike drive. On Tuesday, Dec. 2, Hands On Nashville will collect gently-used kids' bikes with wheels 20 inches in diameter or smaller. Save the date, gather your pre-loved kids' bike, and get ready to celebrate giving!

Riding a bike is a great kid-friendly way to have fun, exercise and safely travel to and from valuable resources, like schools, libraries and community centers. Hands On Nashville's ReCYCLE for Kids presented by Jackson engages community volunteers in providing refurbished bikes, new helmets, and basic safety education for underserved children.

2013-14 ReCYCLE for Kids MaDe Bike Ownership a Reality for Hundreds of Community Youth

Two hundred elementary school students served by Metro Parks community centers took home their very own bicycle and bike helmet on May 17, 2014, as part of Hands On Nashville’s ReCYCLE for Kids presented by Jackson.
