Hammer Time
Nashville Tools for Schools is a local non-profit organization that is “building for our childrens’ future” by constructing tables, shelves, desks and various other special projects for use in Metro Nashville Public Schools. Help support our schools by volunteering in our workshop!
Volunteers will assist with basic woodworking, assembly and/or finishing of activity tables, desks, shelving or other special projects. Use of common shop and handheld tools may be required, and a working knowledge is preferred. Please wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty and closed-toe shoes. Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to support Nashville’s teachers, students and school system. We look forward to working with you!
