Nashville Wine Auction - General Event Set-up and Event Load Out

Nashville Wine Auction is the oldest charity wine auction in the country.  Since its inception in 1980, more than $21 million has been contributed to organizations whose purpose is directly related to the treatment, patient assistance, and eradication of cancer. Nashville Wine Auction's signature event, l'Eté du Vin, meaning, 'A Summer of Wine' is held each summer in July.  This year marks the 38th annual l'Eté du Vin.  

This year's theme is California Collectibles, and features three California vintners.
Proceeds from l'Eté du Vin benefit 8 cancer research and support organizations in Tennessee: Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee, PearlPoint Cancer Support, Gilda's Club Nashville, Saint Thomas Health Foundation, Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge, St. Jude Children's Resarch Hospital, and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

You will join approximately 100 volunteers to help fund the fight against cancer!

​Volunteers are needed to assist with setting up the ballroom, arranging and covering chairs, placing signage and similar pre-event and pre-auction tasks that need to be completed prior to the big night! Moving and lifting involved. Great opportunity for groups or individuals. Volunteers are also needed to assist with event strike and load out.  

Parking will be provided; a voucher will be provided at check-out. (NOTE: Please self-park at the venue upon arrival; we cannot reimburse valet parking.)

A breakfast/snack cart will be provided for morning volunteers and a light lunch/snack cart for afternoon volunteers. Please wear comfortable work clothes and shoes!
 
This is not for court ordered volunteers.


Volunteer Shifts available on July 22, 2017 include:

-General Event Set-up Team (morning) 9:00am - 12:00pm
 *Duties include Ballroom set-up, arranging and covering ballroom chairs, placing signage and centerpieces. 

-Silent and Live Auction Set-up Team (morning) 9:00am - 12:00pm

-General Event Set-up Team (afternoon) 12:00pm - 4:00pm
*Duties include Ballroom set-up, arranging and covering ballroom chairs, placing signage and centerpieces.  

-Silent and Live Auction Set-up Team (afternoon) 12:00pm - 4:00pm
 
-General Event Strike/Load out Team (evening) 9:45pm - midnight
