Event Planning Internship - 2019 Spring Semester
At the Nashville Wine Auction we offer internship opportunities year round with course credit available. Internships are also a very important part of our volunteer program. Applications are accepted throughout the year for Fall, Spring and Summer terms. Nashville Wine Auction internships are available to college juniors or seniors seeking academic credit.
Our Spring Internships will begin in early January 2019, and typically last the length of the semester.
Nashville Wine Auction interns work closely with staff to plan and execute auctions, dinners and wine tastings throughout the year. As a part of the Nashville Wine Auction team, you will gain experience and knowledge in event planning and the day-to-day operations of the country's longest-running charity wine auction.
Nashville Wine Auction Event Planning Interns:
-Assist our Event Team with vendor relations, database management, event timeline creation and on-site logistics
-Learn our auction database and assist all team members with auction preparation
-Come to the team with a great appreciation and desire to learn all the details of event production
-Join an industry leader with a staff committed to producing high quality events for a great cause
Nashville Wine Auction is a self-sustaining, non-profit, charitable organization which exists solely to raise funds to support the fight against cancer. The organization’s primary focus is its series of wine-related events and activities. All activities operate within a framework of social and educational events, thus stimulating an environment of “natural giving” by those who love and appreciate wine. Toward that end, Nashville Wine Auction cultivates participation by the domestic and international wine communities to work in conjunction with businesses, restaurants, entertainment, and communications firms, as well as individuals united in the common goal of winning the battle against cancer.
