Volunteer Coordinator
If you thrive in a fast-paced events environment with an upbeat attitude and passion for volunteerism, we’d love to talk! Join our team and play a key leadership role in volunteer management; serve as the first point of contact for many of our event day volunteers. The Volunteer Coordinator assists in the recruitment, communication and staffing of volunteers for three events. In the weeks prior to each event, the coordinator assists with finding the right fit for volunteers’ skill sets and interests. The Volunteer Coordinator oversees volunteer check-in/check-out on event day. Meet and greet volunteers on event day and experience the excitement of the nation’s longest running charity wine auction!
Your help is needed to:
Nashville Wine Auction recruits volunteers for three events per year. The Volunteer Coordinator is a 5-6 month commitment, approximately 2 months prior to each auction.

Uniting the Wine Community to Fund the Fight Against Cancer
Nashville Wine Auction engages local and world wine communities to produce wine related events which raise money to fight cancer. Increased appreciation of wine through Nashville Wine Auction results in an influential charitable organization of importance to its constituents and beneficiaries.
Our Vision is Accelerating Generosity Through the Sharing of Wine
Nashville Wine Auction is a self-sustaining, non-profit, charitable organization which exists solely to raise funds to support the fight against cancer. The organization’s primary focus is its series of wine-related events and activities. All activities operate within a framework of social and educational events, thus stimulating an environment of “natural giving” by those who love and appreciate wine. Toward that end, Nashville Wine Auction cultivates participation by the domestic and international wine communities to work in conjunction with businesses, restaurants, entertainment, and communications firms, as well as individuals united in the common goal of winning the battle against cancer.

Your help is needed to:
- Learn the various volunteer roles at an auction
- Communicate with volunteers to match the right volunteer with the right position
- Track volunteers on a spreadsheet for event day
- Email job descriptions and event day logistics to volunteers
- Welcome volunteers and facilitate check-in and check-out
- Direct volunteers to their position on-site
