Food Pantry Volunteer
Make a difference in many lives by compassionately staffing our Food Pantry, which serves residents of Old Hickory.
Primary tasks include:
Preparing food boxes, greeting guests warmly and loading boxes into their vehicles.
Receiving, recording and stocking food donations.
Some days the work is non-stop and you'll go home with aching muscles. Other days, you'll have plenty of time to sit around drinking coffee and building friendships with your awesome co-workers. No two days are the same!

Our process for integrating long-term volunteers includes completion of an application, an interview, and a background check. The process may be condensed for one-time or short-term volunteers. When you express interest, we'll contact you by email to set up a phone or in-person conversation.
