Follow-up Phone Calls for HEAR Nashville
Volunteers are needed to make follow-up phone calls to persons that have called the HEAR Nashville call center, with the purpose of determining how that person is proceeding in their process and to identify any problems they may have and provide assistance in solving those problems.
There will be a facilitated on-site training before volunteers are asked to make phone calls from their own location. The training will teach volunteers how to access our documentation and how to navigate in Google. Basic internet skills are required, as well as an internet connected computer. A mobile phone will be provided for the work.
The phone calls will take about three hours per week, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. We ask for at least a six-month commitment.
All volunteers will be asked to sign a Confidentiality Agreement as required by HIPPA regulations.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those at risk or impacted by hearing loss or communicative disorders. We educate, support, and sponsor programs that benefit the local community.
